Highlights include Sule Pagoda, City Hall, the High Court and former Burma Railways Company – one of Yangon’s oldest administrative buildings. Your excursion begins with a tour through Yangon city. Visit SULE PAGODA, dating back over 2,000 years. Proceed then to the magnificent reclining Buddha at CHAUK HTAT GYI. After a photo stop at the KARAWEIK HALL on Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake, stroll through the BOGYOKE (SCOTTS) MARKET with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems stores (closed on Monday and public holidays). After the visit proceed to Yangon’s oldest Chinese temple and continue to the riverside located BOTATAUNG PAGODA. Complete your Yangon impressions with an extended visit to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments, the SHWEDAGON PAGODA. Lunch is excluded.
